Laserwelding
always works

Made in Belgium. Engineered certainty.

Laser welding is particularly accessible. With experienced guidance, the right equipment and the right parameters, this technology can be used for any level. In order to be able to answer every welding need, we developed three solutions: from ready-to-use devices to extensive industrial applications and customization. We have the options, you have the choice.

01

The result is always good

Whether you’ve been welding for years, or have never laid a seam, laser welding achieves the highest standards. Tell us what you need and we will guide you to the right solution.

02

Endless applications

Thanks to the high welding speed, the limited heat input and the ease of use, laser technology can be used for a wide range of applications. It is a practical and high-performance addition to classic MIG and TIG methods, with little to no post-processing as an added asset.

03

Little to no post-processing

Perhaps the most obvious asset of this technology. In this way, it increases the cost efficiency of the entire process and makes your company less dependent on scarce and specialized talent.

With laser technology, you can reach a high level surprisingly quickly. This not only increases your craftsmanship, but also your productivity, employability and returns.

What visitors experience during a demo:
"Even without experience, I was able to get started right away."

For every welding emergency, there is a solution that fits seamlessly.

For fast, versatile welding

Ideal for those who want to weld quickly and reliably, even without having any welding experience. Very handy for well-kept weld seams, assembly work or repairs and various works throughout the day.

For longer, intensive welding

For companies that want to make more metres and weld longer. Get more out of every workday with higher output, smoother throughput and strong performance in intensive welding.

For custom automation

If you want to automate or customise the welding process, you will find solutions here that grow with production and ambition. From robot cells to specific integrations, tailored to your company.

FAQ

No, not like in classic welding. Due to the much more targeted heat input, the thermal impact on the material is more limited, which greatly reduces deformation. With the right settings, fit and choice of material, laser technology continues to work in a much more controlled and dimensionally stable way than traditional welding techniques.

It is no more or less than classic welding. As with any welding technique, safety depends on the right guarding, PPE and a correct working environment. With the right precautions, laser technology is therefore just as safe and as manageable as traditional welding.

The difference is mainly in how both techniques work in the workplace. TIG offers more flexibility with less than perfect fit, while laser welding excels in speed, precision and limited heat input. Which technique fits best therefore depends mainly on the application, preparation and the desired end result.

This depends mainly on a good fit, correct parameters and a stable working environment. Once that basis is right, the result becomes very consistent and much less dependent on the operator. This is precisely one of the great strengths of laser welding: quality is much more repeatable.

That depends on how intensively the device is used, but in practice the payback period often turns out to be surprisingly short. Because the profit is spread over the entire process, from faster welding to less post-processing and rework, a device such as Weldr often pays for itself within 6 to 12 months with daily use.
